Su padre fue Francisco Antonio Ferraro, inmigrante italiano que hab\u00eda nacido en N\u00e1poles y hab\u00eda llegado a General Alvear en 1924 dedic\u00e1ndose de lleno a la agricultura, siendo uno de los fundadores de la Cooperativa Agr\u00edcola del R\u00edo Atuel en el a\u00f1o 1953.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fue fundador de la Cooperativa Agr\u00edcola Rio Atuel y tambi\u00e9n uno de los socios fundadores de la radio AM local. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Ferraro ocup\u00f3 la intendencia municipal desde el a\u00f1o 1966 hasta 1970 en momentos en que se llevaba adelante el gobierno liderado por el Gral. Juan Carlos Ongan\u00eda.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ferraro fue adem\u00e1s fue presidente del Tiro Federal Argentino local y fue uno de los integrantes de la sociedad de empresarios locales, que pusieron en marcha LV 23 Radio R\u00edo Atuel, la primera emisora radial de General Alvear.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Adem\u00e1s fue integrante del Consejo de Asociados de CECSAGAL, ocup\u00f3 la presidencia del Aeroclub e integr\u00f3 por muchos a\u00f1os el Rotary Club.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Este martes, a los 97 a\u00f1os, dej\u00f3 de existir Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Ferraro.
