Uno de los soldados que combati\u00f3 en la Guerra de las Malvinas y es el \u00fanico soldado conscripto vivo en recibir la m\u00e1xima condecoraci\u00f3n militar Argentina, la Cruz La Naci\u00f3n Argentina al Heroico Valor en Combate (seg\u00fan la Ley 22.607 de 1982), por su haza\u00f1a y hero\u00edsmo durante la Batalla del Cerro de Dos Hermanas.<\/p>\n<p>El Concejo declar\u00f3 su visita, de inter\u00e9s Hist\u00f3rico y Social.
