La decisi\u00f3n fue de la Asamblea General de la ONU con el objetivo de reconocer el rol\u00a0de la mujer en la promoci\u00f3n del desarrollo agr\u00edcola y rural, mejorando la seguridad alimentaria y la erradicaci\u00f3n de la pobreza rural.<\/p>\n<p>Es por eso que el Honorable Concejo Deliberante en este a\u00f1o tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n, por resoluci\u00f3n N\u00b0 4462 de conmemorar y distinguir a Mujeres Rurales de nuestro departamento.<\/p>\n<p>El acto se realiz\u00f3 en el Centro Cultural del distrito de Bowen y lo encabezaron los Concejales Mar\u00eda Rosa Leico, Roberto Castillo, Feliz Grasso, Myrna Osorio y Gustavo Vendramin. Con el apoyo del delegado municipal, el Sr. Hernan Climent.<\/p>\n<p>Vecinos, familiares y amigos acompa\u00f1aron a siete mujeres rurales que recibieron su reconocimiento por parte del Concejo Deliberante, en honor al trabajo, excelencia y trayectoria de lucha en la actividad agraria de tantas mujeres rurales de todo el departamento, representadas en ellas: ANA SENIUK, ZULEMA ALI, CARMEN MART\u00cdNEZ, ELIZABETH GARC\u00cdA, ZULEMA TORRES, N\u00c9LIDA MUZYCZUK, IRMA G.
