El primer D\u00eda Mundial del Donante de Sangre se celebr\u00f3 el 14 de junio de 2004. En esa fecha se lanz\u00f3 en Johannesburgo la campa\u00f1a denominada \u201cLa sangre, un regalo de vida\u201d. La finalidad de la jornada es agradecer la inestimable contribuci\u00f3n de millones de donantes de sangre que ofrecen a sus comunidades el m\u00e1s precioso de los regalos, la vida. Adem\u00e1s se espera alentar a nuevas generaciones de voluntarios a donar sangre regularmente.<\/p>\n<p>En este d\u00eda un agradecimiento y saludo muy especial en nombre de la comunidad educativa de la escuela N\u00b0 1-464\u00a0 \u201cProvincia de San Luis\u201d, a todos aquellos donantes de sangre, que demuestran su solidaridad en cada acto de donaci\u00f3n.
