Es una interacci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica entre el atl\u00e1ntico y el Pac\u00edfico. Esto permitir\u00eda salir por el paso Pehuenche a otros mercados, no solo Chile sino tambi\u00e9n Per\u00fa y dem\u00e1s. Despu\u00e9s de la Ruta 7, este es el segundo corredor de mayor importancia. Terminar la ruta Alvear-Malargue permitir\u00e1 una activaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica.
