Se disput\u00f3 el primer torneo del a\u00f1o en el Club Mendoza Regatas y el joven Alvearense consigui\u00f3 un importante segundo lugar, ante fuertes jugadores<\/h4>\n

El certamen que se disput\u00f3 bajo modalidad Blitz (o ajedrez rel\u00e1mpago) fue organizado por el Club anfitri\u00f3n y cont\u00f3 con la fiscalizaci\u00f3n de la Federaci\u00f3n Mendocina de Ajedrez. Reuni\u00f3 a un total de 32 jugadores de distintos departamentos y el adolescente alvearense, de 16 a\u00f1os, que se prepara para disputar la Final Nacional de su categor\u00eda, se qued\u00f3 con un valioso segundo lugar, producto de 7 victorias y 2 derrotas (ante el jugador de Regatas, V\u00edctor P\u00e9rez y a Ricardo Montacuto)<\/p>\n

Ganador del torneo fue Tom\u00e1s Caruso, que conquist\u00f3 un punto m\u00e1s que Camilo Lieby, y complet\u00f3 el Podio, Montacuto.<\/p>\n
